INHERITANCE
IMPACT CAMPAIGN
Our impact continues to grow—here’s what we’ve accomplished together so far:

Main film participant Curtis walks along the Pacific Coast in Oregon while taking a break between Impact Campaign screenings.
Over the past year, our impact campaign for INHERITANCE has worked to raise awareness and deepen understanding of the complex challenges facing children and families affected by poverty, intergenerational trauma and substance use disorder.
"Many students commented after the screening about how it strengthened their resolve in their recovery, and how it fueled their desire to improve their communities." - Adam Singer, LSU Collegiate Recovery
These screenings have sparked vital conversations, fostered cross-sector collaboration and built momentum for real change.
"The film is a catalyst for open conversation that seeks not to place blame, but to shed light, and find solutions to what families are facing." - Mary Sturgill, Furman University
The campaign continues to humanize those affected by substance use disorder and serves as a catalyst for increased investment in mental health care, recovery services, and critical support systems for children and families—especially in rural and underserved communities.
"It challenges us to confront our own biases and provides a deeper understanding into the issues that impact generational substance misuse and poverty." - Megan Gordon, Page Alliance for Community Action
